Written estimate

A written scope within a few days. What comes down, what stays, and what it costs. No verbal numbers that change on job day.

STEP 03

The work, done to standard

Crews work inside ANSI Z133.1. The rigging plan is set before anyone leaves the ground, and records are kept on every job.

STEP 04

Site left clean

Brush chipped, wood cut to length or hauled, ruts repaired, lawn raked. The yard looks like we were never there, minus the tree.

Are you a certified arborist?
Yes. Sylvan Scapes holds ISA Certified Arborist credentials through the International Society of Arboriculture, plus Tree Care Safety Professional accreditation through the Tree Care Industry Association. Certification means the arborist has been tested on tree biology, diagnosis, pruning standards and safety, and has to keep earning continuing education to hold it.
How much does tree removal cost in Staunton, VA?
It depends on size, species, and what is underneath the tree. A 40-foot pine in an open field and a 90-foot oak leaning over a roof are different jobs even though both are removals. What drives the price is access, rigging difficulty, and what has to be protected. Every job gets an on-site look and a written estimate before any work is scheduled.

Do I have to take the tree down?
Often not. Large old trees get removed all the time that could have been saved with cabling, bracing, or a structural pruning plan. That is the value of having an arborist assess it instead of a removal company quoting it. If the tree is a genuine hazard we will say so plainly, and if it is not, we will tell you that too.
